The food here is the best Indian food in possibly southern Ontario. I knew it was amazing, but when my friends from Bramladesh aka Brampton, came to eat here with us, even they said it was better than any Indian food they had growing up for over 20 years in Brampton! Portions are a little small for the price but quality is worth it. I can agree with the one review about the buffet, it's not the best showcase for there food. The owner and staff are always friendly and in good spirits.

I came to this restaurant when I was a ESL student, it was 5 years ago, I remembered that their food was so delicious. Then I moved to Ottawa and just come back few weeks ago. Yesterday I went to this restaurant and ordered some food for my boyfriend, the food was still good like it used to be! Their butter chicken is so creamy and the meat was cooked very soft. I got the Bhoona beef with rice, like the introduction says,it’s very rich in taste!

Love their food. We’ve been ordering from JOI for years, and they never fail us. Always delicious and generous portions. This is really authentic Indian cuisine. There are lots of excellent curry restaurants in London, but JOI leads the pack.

The Jewel of India is the best Indian food in all of London! My family and I have been loyal customers of the restaurant for years, the dishes are amazing, they serve large portions, and they have the friendliest staff and owners. I always recommend the Jewel of India to everyone I know in London or whenever any friends are visiting. 10/10, keep up the great service!

This is our go-to Indian restaurant and has been for years. While the atmosphere is modest and dated, it is clean and quiet. The food is reasonably priced, consistently very good and the service is always prompt and friendly. Highly recommend!

Surprisingly good despite the dingy atmosphere. I don’t think I’ve ever seen more than three tables occupied at once in any of my visits there, so wait is definitely not a problem. The washroom is downstairs and a little scary. I am pathetically weak against spicy foods. Even their butter chicken is too spicy for me (you can ask for anything there extra mild). I have to admit, underneath that burning sensation on my tongue, there is a fine balance of flavours in their curry. My boyfriend loves this place and insists it’s the best Indian food in London. Only here does he find the food spicy and hot enough to his liking. Garlic naan here is really good and definitely worth getting every time. Overall, it’s a good place to go if you want to be alone. The food here is good and adjustable to your level of spice tolerance. Definitely a good choice if you want extra spicy food.
